Adam Leier - Steam Brothers Franchise Founder

Back in the 60’s and 70’s Adam Leier learned the importance of management, marketing and providing good customer service while working for a local supermarket. Because he could not afford to purchase his own supermarket he started to research various business opportunities. 

He came home from work one day to find a gentleman cleaning carpets for his wife and they started to visit. It sounded like the cleaner was very happy doing what he was doing and making a good family living.

Adam talked to his wife about the conversation he had with the cleaner and they decided that cleaning services was something they would like to do. Later that same year they started their own cleaning business offering carpet and upholstery while eventually expanding into other cleaning related services. Adam knew that professionalism and providing the best service around would keep their customers coming back.

After operating their company for three years the word spread to neighboring towns about their service, workmanship, and the fact that they really cared about their customers. Adam decided to open businesses in two other towns and was also very successful. 

At the end of their 6th year in business they made the decision to franchise and help other people start their own company by following their proven method of success. Thirty years later, Steam Brothers Inc. has franchise locations throughout the upper Midwestern states and continues to open more.
